H.E. Mr. Adnan A. Yousif, the Chief Executive Officer of Al-Baraka Banking Group accompanied by the CEOs and General Managers of the Group's subsidiary banks from different countries including ( Jordan , Bahrain , Sudan , Egypt , Algeria , Tunis , Turkey , Syria , Lebanon , South Africa , Indonesia , Pakistan ) visited the Central Bank of Jordan . They were welcomed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan Dr. Umayya Toukan.
He expressed his willingness that the ABG continue serving Arab and Islamic economies. The ABG commenced Islamic Banking in Jordan through the Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB), to be the first bank that presents Islamic banking in Jordan . The attendees have discussed the various Arab banking issues. His Excellency has delivered a brief speech about the objectives of the meeting of the Group's five-year future plan.
This visit is synchronized with holding the ABG, Bahrain-based, its second annual strategic meeting in Amman during the period from 10-11/6/2008 in Grand Hyatt Amman.
