Jordan Islamic Bank has celebrated the inauguration of its banking office in Al-Istiklal Mall/Amman on 13/4/2008, to be 10 cash offices and 56 branches.
This inauguration comes within the Bank's strategy to expand geographically so as to make its banking, financing, and investment services cover different areas in Jordan .
It has been planned during this year to open two new branches in Khalda/Amman and Al-shoonah Al-Shamaliah/Al-Aghwar Al-Shamaliah, as well as two offices in Al-Yasmeen region and in Al-Hurriah Street-Muqabalein/Amman before the end of this year .
A number of the businessmen and traders in Al-Istiklal Mall and from the nearby region have also attended the celebration to welcome and congratulate the new location of the Bank.
Mr.Musa Shihadeh, Vice Chairman & General Manager, said that we are proud of what has been achieved during the Bank's course since 1979, represented by the continuous opening of new branches and offices in various areas in Jordan. This reflects the strength and depth of its course. He also added that the total balance of the Bank reached about JD 1.597 billion, while increase to be about JD 1.926 billion when adding the accounts of specialized/restricted investment, investment by Agency, investment portfolios / Muqarada Bonds.
